what is a chapter?
Paper Bridges School Chapters are groups of passionate high school or university students looking to create a positive impact on the lives of orphans. Each chapter will be partnered with an appropriate orphanage and work closely with the orphanage to design and implement projects such as sending letters, putting together care packages, creating educational material, planning sports camps, running a book drive to create a mini-library, and more! Learn more through the packets below, and once you are ready, fill out our chapter registration application.
We are now also opening up the option of starting a chapter in your local community! The core activities and mission will be the same as a school chapter.
Before applying to become a Paper Bridges chapter, please check the requirements:
Chapters should be associated with a high school or college
High School Chapters should have an adult sponsor
Chapters will be expected to carry out at last 2 projects a year to support local foster care centers or orphanages (in-kind donation drives, letters, holding events, game nights, etc.)
Chapters have to fundraise and support national Paper Bridges projects as they are launched.
